MEET THE TEAM

Anna Holm
Founder

Anna started her journey at the Majestic 10 years ago working as an Esthetician. She and her husband, Ben, took over ownership of the spa in 2011 and have grown the business into an award-winning destination. Healing has always been her passion and by building an amazing spa team she is able to reach a larger audience. Inspiring people to be the best version of themselves is what she strives for. They are now the proud owners of The Apothecary Wellness Center and Spa, the second location in Burlington. The spa and wellness center is the perfect setting to help facilitate health, healing and happiness.

Anna received her Esthetic License in 2009. She has certifications in Crystal Healing, Herbalism and Soul Realignment. When not at the spa you will find her gardening, working on her 120-year-old house or volunteering in the community. Her three daughters and husband keep her on her toes and laughing.

Carly Soapes
Spa Manager & Spray Tan Specialist

Carly has been with us for the past 9 years and as the spa's manager, she is the backbone of the spa. In 2017, Carly became a Spray Tanning Specialist, adding that service to the list of offerings. Between spa land, hosting parties and the craziness that comes with having three children, Carly managed to launch a business of her own, White Willow Decorating. She brings her decorating talents to the spa and keeps the facility looking beautiful and welcoming.

Teresa Tweed | Licensed Massage Therapist
MA60589104

Teresa believes in the body’s ability to heal itself and uses her intuition and skills to assist in that process. Her distinctive style combines vibrational and myofascial balancing techniques with long broad strokes of Lomi Lomi. She also utilizes stretching to unwind, melt and release tension in the muscles and soft tissue to support gentle structural shifts to the body’s alignment. Her other modalities include deep tissue, trigger point therapy, acupressure and Reiki.

In 2016, Teresa obtained an advanced certification in Orthopedic Massage. This intensive six-month course specialized in a pain-free approach assessing, testing and treating injuries to relieve chronic discomfort. She believes every body is unique. Therefore, she crafts each session focused on her client’s needs and what their bodies tell her once she begins treatment. Her hope is that each person leaves with an overall sense of grounding, internal calmness, increased balance, fluidity and motion.

When Teresa isn’t working, she loves traveling as well as spending time at home playing guitar, working in her garden, reading, painting and cooking. She also loves practicing yoga, running, hiking, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.

Christina Durkan | Esthetician

Shortly after graduating from Paroba College in 2012, Christina joined our family here at The Apothecary Spa and quickly showed us that her heart is truly in her work. Although she can perform any of our offered esthetic services, her specialties are providing luxurious facials and accurate skin assessments which will point you in the right direction for continued care. Her easygoing, friendly demeanor makes any waxing experience more pleasant and less painful. When not at the spa, Christina is most likely roaming the Valley with her two boys. They enjoy biking, hiking, and baseball. Christina’s generous and caring spirit for her family, friends, and clients are one of the reasons we feel that she is a perfect representation of what we strive to provide to everyone who walks through our doors.
