Anna Holm |
Founder
Anna started her journey at the Majestic 15 years ago working as an Esthetician. She and her husband, Ben, took over ownership of the spa in 2011 and have grown the business into an award-winning destination. Healing has always been her passion and by building an amazing spa team she is able to reach a larger audience. Inspiring people to be the best version of themselves is what she strives for. They are now the proud owners of The Apothecary Wellness Center and Spa, the second location in Burlington. The spa and wellness center is the perfect setting to help facilitate health, healing, and happiness.
Anna received her Esthetic License in 2010. She has certifications in Crystal Healing, Herbalism, and Soul Realignment. When not at the spa you will find her gardening, working on her 120-year-old house, or volunteering in the community. Her husband, three daughters and two grand kiddos keep her on her toes and laughing.
Justine Henderson |

Justine has been a part of the spa’s foundation and growth for the past 12 years since her parents took over ownership in 2011. Starting as a laundry attendant, she has worked up to a receptionist position and management as of 2021. Spending most of her childhood in spa land, she has grown a passion for the beauty and service industry. In April of 2022, she graduated from Evergreen Beauty College as a licensed Esthetician. When not at work, you will find her going on walks with her family or playing in the backyard with her kids. This busy mom is so thankful to be a part of The Apothecary Team!

Tim is a dual licensed Massage Therapist & Esthetician. Right after his first massage, Tim realized he wanted to be a Massage Therapist. He graduated from Port Townsend School of Massage in November 2013 & has been practicing massage regularly for almost 10 years. As of 2022, he has completed over 650 hours of massage-related continuing education. He has a passion for helping people overcome stress, injury, & discomfort, as well as providing a thorough & luxurious experience. Being employed at The Apothecary Spa made him discover that he also loves performing body treatments- relaxing the entire body while giving the skin various benefits; This prompted him to get his Esthetician license. He graduated in October 2021 and specialized in Acne Treatment, Anti-Aging, and Back Facials. Tim also loves Art, Science, Sci-Fi, Nature, & family/friends.

Beth is our Resident Certified Health and Life Coach for Women who want to be more in charge of their health and personal growth. As a dual-licensed Esthetician and Massage Therapist, her treatments are a perfect blend of specialization and luxury. Her specialties include the 75 min luxury facials with a Coconut Scalp Treatment and the 90 min Customized Massage. She started her journey in the hospitality industry 19 years ago in Seattle at various luxury and award-winning hotels and spas. After finding her way to Anacortes, she has made it her home for the past seven years. Her balance in life comes from spending time with her husband and kids, rock climbing, and hiking.
Robert Sill | Licensed Massage Therapist

Robert attended massage training at Whatcom Community College in Bellingham and graduated in 2012. He has been doing massage for ten years and has worked at The Apothecary Spa for eight years. His primary focus is on treatment massage using many different techniques such as Deep Tissue, Gua Sha (also known as Bamboo Massage or Scraping), Grid Work (a form of trigger point therapy), and other therapeutic massage modalities. Many clients see him for upper body issues such as shoulder and neck pain or discomfort and low back and hip issues. In 2020 he added a new modality to his skill set that focuses on more pectoral work and breast tissue massage, per the new Washington Board of Health WAC 246-830-555.
Erica Gonzales | Licensed Massage Therapist

Erica specializes in clinical massage techniques and a finesse-over-force approach that helps clients break through patterns of chronic tension and pain. She especially enjoys helping those dealing with occupational stressors, migraines, and persistent or chronic injuries. She has been licensed and working in massage for over 10 years. She received her massage license and Associate of Science with Honors from Whatcom Community college in 2011, working at award-winning spas in Skagit Valley, WA, and New Orleans, LA. Erica entered the massage field out of an aptitude for anatomy and physiology and a desire to help others attain a sense of balance and wellbeing. She recently moved back to the PNW and is ready and excited to serve her community. When she isn’t caring for her clients, Erica may be found hiking, curled up with her dog and a book, or hosting dinners for her family and friends.

Mariana joined the spa in March of 2021 after graduating from Columbia River Institute of Massage Therapy in 2020. She specializes in Relaxation, Prenatal, Trigger Point Therapy, and Reflexology. She enjoys when clients book custom massages so she can intuitively use different modalities and pressures to best achieve their goals. Mariana has a long history of working in Healthcare and Hospitality. She chose to pursue Massage Therapy and has enjoyed helping clients reach lower levels of discomfort and stress. She moved to the area over a year ago with her fiancé and two dogs. She loves being in nature, creating art, and working in her garden.

Brittany Connors was born and raised in Skagit Valley and is currently living in Anacortes, WA, with her 4-year-old daughter and awaiting the arrival of her sister in December along with her Partner and two dogs. Having recently graduated from the Evergreen Beauty College Esthetician program with a previous history of working in the Medical Field as a Medical Assistant, during the pandemic, she realized she wanted to help people feel more comfortable about themselves in their natural beauty. With her Growing Passion for providing Facials and waxing treatments, she plans to expand her education and provide permanent makeup services in the future. Just like Facial Treatments, she loves to customize her service to her clients' needs and provide that confidence and care to them, so when they leave, they feel renewed and confident in their natural beauty with a nice relaxing escape. When she is not at the Spa, she loves spending family time at the beach or going on long road trips around this beautiful state. In addition, her goal in life is to spread Natural Beauty and Self Care awareness to her clients and herself.

Jan has enjoyed Massage Therapy since 1990, when she graduated from the Seattle Massage School. She has also worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant since 1985. Her specialties include Lymphatic drainage massage, Myofascial release/trigger points, Strain counterstrain, and Pregnancy massage. In addition, relaxation massage/deep breathing techniques. She also specializes in Headaches, Fibromyalgia, Low back pain, and Chronic pain. She enjoys the great outdoors with biking and trail running. Born and raised in Anacortes, I always knew I wanted a career that would never take me out of this beautiful town. I graduated from Evergreen Beauty College a few months after graduating high school and started my Career at 19! I love waxing, pampering clients with facials, and making others feel confident with lashes! Since we are all unique, I strive to have each client feel cared for with treatments that suit their personal needs!

She specializes in deep tissue, body treatments, the Signature Massage and her personal favorite, Hot Stone Massage. During her days off, Jessica enjoys going to the movies, hiking, and curling up with a good book.

Assunta has been a licensed esthetician for 15 years and worked in the beauty industry for over 30 years. Her skills as an esthetician brought her to spas in our area as well as in Italy, her birth country. It was there that her love and passion for the beauty industry started; Italy is famous for its therapeutic spas, body and soul wellness, and self-care. She is bringing that passion to the US. She specializes in organic skin care, relaxing facials, and all-over body waxing and body treatments. She is excited to be working with Eminence Skin Care as it shares the same values and expectations. She believes in honesty and integrity and that success is a by-product of a job well done. She now lives in the Skagit area, and considers the PNW one of the most beautiful places in the world. When not at the Apothecary, she can be found teaching belly dancing and how to read the tarot. She is a Reiki Master, a certified microcurrent therapist, and a reflexologist. She enjoys hiking, reading, learning, walking, cooking, immortalizing beauty through photography, road trips, and hole-in-the-wall restaurants.
