Anna began her journey at the Majestic in February 2009, starting as a receptionist before earning her Esthetics License in 2010. What began as a love of skincare and guest care quickly evolved into a lifelong passion for healing, teaching, and leadership. In 2011, Anna and her husband, Ben, took ownership of the spa, transforming it into The Apothecary Spa an award-winning wellness destination known for its warm hospitality and holistic approach to care. Together, they later expanded their vision with The Apothecary Wellness Center & Spa in Burlington — a space designed to nurture health, healing, and happiness for both guests and practitioners. With more than 15 years in the spa industry, Anna has become a respected teacher and mentor, inspiring emerging professionals to build meaningful, sustainable careers in wellness. She holds advanced certifications in Crystal Healing, Herbalism, Aromatherapy, Reiki Mastery, and Soul Realignment, and she is a certified Crystal Master Healer and Aromatherapist. As the founder of Wild Valley Vitality, she continues to educate and empower spa professionals through advanced training programs, workshops, and community events. When she’s not at the spa or teaching, you’ll find Anna tending her garden, restoring her 120-year-old home, volunteering in the community and serving on the Board of Directors for the Children's Museum of Skagit County. Her husband, three daughters, and two grandkids keep her grounded, grateful, and always laughing.

Justine has been an integral part of The Apothecary Spa’s story for more than a decade. Since her family took ownership in 2011, she has helped shape the spa’s growth from the ground up, beginning her journey as a laundry attendant, advancing to receptionist, and stepping into management in 2021. Now serving as Spa Director, Justine brings over 12 years of hands-on experience in operations, guest relations, and team leadership. A licensed Esthetician and graduate of Evergreen Beauty College, she blends her love of skincare with a deep understanding of the guest experience, guiding her team with professionalism, warmth, and vision. Raised in the world of wellness, Justine’s passion for the beauty and spa industry runs deep. When she’s not leading the team, you’ll find her enjoying family walks or playing in the backyard with her children. She’s a dedicated mom, a natural leader, and truly the heart of The Apothecary Spa.

Beth is our Resident Certified Health and Life Coach for Women who want to be more in charge of their health and personal growth. As a dual-licensed Esthetician and Massage Therapist, her treatments are a perfect blend of specialization and luxury. Her specialties include the 75 min luxury facials with a Coconut Scalp Treatment and the 90 min Customized Massage. She started her journey in the hospitality industry 19 years ago in Seattle at various luxury and award-winning hotels and spas. After finding her way to Anacortes, she has made it her home for the past seven years. Her balance in life comes from spending time with her husband and kids, rock climbing, and hiking.

Robert is a skilled and intuitive therapist with over seven years of experience and five years as part of The Apothecary Spa team. A graduate of Whatcom Community College’s Massage Therapy Program in Bellingham (Class of 2012), he brings a thoughtful, treatment-focused approach to every session. Robert specializes in therapeutic and corrective bodywork, incorporating techniques such as Deep Tissue, Gua Sha (Bamboo Massage or Scraping), Grid Work (a form of trigger point therapy), and other integrative modalities to help clients achieve lasting relief. Many of his guests seek him out for upper body tension, shoulder and neck discomfort, and low back or hip pain. In alignment with the Washington Board of Health WAC 246-830-555, Robert has recently expanded his practice to include professional pectoral and breast tissue massage, supporting a more comprehensive approach to pain relief and postural balance. Robert’s calm presence and clinical precision make his sessions both deeply effective and restorative.

Erica specializes in clinical massage techniques and a finesse-over-force approach that helps clients break through patterns of chronic tension and pain. She especially enjoys helping those dealing with occupational stressors, migraines, and persistent or chronic injuries. She has been licensed and working in massage for over 10 years. She received her massage license and Associate of Science with Honors from Whatcom Community college in 2011, working at award-winning spas in Skagit Valley, WA, and New Orleans, LA. Erica entered the massage field out of an aptitude for anatomy and physiology and a desire to help others attain a sense of balance and wellbeing. She recently moved back to the PNW and is ready and excited to serve her community. When she isn’t caring for her clients, Erica may be found hiking, curled up with her dog and a book, or hosting dinners for her family and friends.

Her skills as an esthetician brought her to spas in our area as well as in Italy, her birth country. It was there that her love and passion for the beauty industry started; Italy is famous for its therapeutic spas, body and soul wellness, and self-care. She is bringing that passion to the US. She specializes in organic skin care, relaxing facials, and all-over body waxing and body treatments. She is excited to be working with Eminence Skin Care as it shares the same values and expectations. She believes in honesty and integrity and that success is a by-product of a job well done. She now lives in the Skagit area, and considers the PNW one of the most beautiful places in the world. When not at the Apothecary, she can be found teaching belly dancing and how to read the tarot. She is a Reiki Master, a certified microcurrent therapist, and a reflexologist. She enjoys hiking, reading, learning, walking, cooking, immortalizing beauty through photography, road trips, and hole-in-the-wall restaurants.

Her passion for esthetics stems from a love for chemistry and biology in high school, which she also developed during her skincare journey.
