It seems that a new study comes out every week pointing to another physical or mental health benefit of mindfulness. Recent research reveals that meditation may help prevent age-related cognitive decline among older adults.
A little exercise also goes a long way. Recently I posted about my increased activity and the increases in day time energy levels. What I didn’t post was the fact that I also began sleeping better. I wake up before my alarm and I am completely alert and ready to get back to the gym. My interest in mindfulness and meditation are far more interpersonal. It’s nice to know that there are benefits to my sleep patterns.
