Show your appreciation by assisting those in need

give Thanks

The holidays are here.  What a hectic time of year!  But, aren’t you thankful to have the means to enjoy it?  You have your health, your friends, and your family.  In the midst of giving thanks this Thanksgiving, take time to remember those who are less fortunate than you.  As a way of showing how thankful you are for all that you have, wouldn’t it be nice to help someone in need?

November is National Alzheimer’s Disease Month, National Adoption Month, National AIDS Awareness Month, Lung Cancer Awareness Month, and Epilepsy Awareness Month.  What an appropriate time to choose a charity to support and help someone else!  After all, isn’t that what Thanksgiving is all about?

Whether you volunteer your time, or donate funds to a cause in need, providing assistance to charities is a thoughtful way of giving thanks. Or you can assist The Apothecary Spa with its support of families in need this year.  Send an email to  staff@theapothecaryspa.com to nominate a local family in need this holiday season.  We will announce the winner in next month’s newsletter.

Want to help, but don’t know where to begin? Check out the following organizations for opportunities to assist both financially and/or by volunteering your time:

The team at The Apothecary Spa is so thankful for you, friends, and family.

Without your support we would not have been able to support the following organizations:  The Rebecca Sullivan Memorial Fund, The Children’s Museum of Skagit County,United Way, Friends of the Forest, American Cancer Society, Children’s Hospital, Community Action of Skagit County, Skagitonian’s to Preserve Farmland, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of Western Washington, Soroptimist International of Fidalgo Island, Youthnet, Island Hospital Foundation, MOPS, Burlington Little School, Anacortes Sister Cities Foundation, Lopez Island Hospice, Susan G Komen Pink Tie Affair,  and All Skagit County School Districts.

Thank you for your support as  we continue to come together to help, and give thanks to this special group of people.  We know you will be so happy that you did!
